South Downs Safety co-ordinate and manage real-time Construction Site Dust And Noise & Vibration Monitoring.

We work with specialist Air Quality and Acoustic consultants to ensure compliance with agreed dust and noise & vibration levels, with Email/SMS notification and monthly reports produced.

Construction Site Monitoring:

South Downs Safety can work with you to monitor, manage, achieve and evidence compliance with stipulated Local Authority dust and/or noise & vibration levels.

Conditions of a developments planning consent may include requirements to undertake works in accordance with previously agreed dust and/or noise and vibration levels.

If a prior consent Section 61 Agreement is in place the acceptable dust and noise & vibration levels will have been agreed with the Local Authority prior to the commencement of works.

A developments dust and noise & vibration monitoring regime will have also been outlined within the Section 61 Agreement and will be dependent on several factors including the location of the development and the number and proximity of potentially sensitive receptors.

Detailed within the developments monitoring regime will be dust and noise & vibration trigger and action levels, these levels will also have been previously agreed with the Local Authority prior to the commencement of works.

Real-time dust and noise & vibration monitoring data is accessible online to enable real-time and historical data review.

 

Our real-time monitoring includes:

• email/SMS notifications and alerts, amber warning if levels are approaching agreed thresholds, red if the thresholds have been exceeded
• production of monthly reports which clearly detail dust and noise & vibration levels, including any instances of threshold exceedances

• the purchase of monitoring equipment and ongoing dust and/or noise & vibration monitoring
